    Hey, I just got ati tv wonder pro. I am wanting to do captures from my hi8 using svideo. I have it all working, no probs.The only prob I have is there is a blury horizontal line at the bottom of the screen. This is with all the software i have tried. Is it possibly my cam or is it the card. I tried with both compsite and s video with no diff. It dosnt do it on my tv, just on computer.

    Don't worry, nothing is wrong with your system. You see what is called overscan. It comes from the turning of the video heads in your camera/VCR. It will not appear on your TV, only on your computer display. However, if the final video is only to viewed on your computer, certain programs have what is called clipping or cropping, which can delete the overscan part of your video. The programs I know for sure which can do it are TMPGEnc Plus, Video Studio 6 & 7, and Virtual Dub.
