  1. Now this seems to be my big headache, I got everything working just fine, then wham, ffmpegX can't find any of it's files (which haven't moved), nor can it find the file I'm trying to use?????
    The same file I dragged onto the app to get started like you told me to do?
    Any pointers on this latest weirdness?

  2. Please post some actual process output, error messages, etc.

  3. Okay, here's what I get for info:

    now what all this means, is truly beyond me, these files are being dragged on top of the app as you suggested, AND now by being slected within the apps browser window, I'm lost here, what's going on?

  4. Remove spaces from your folder and file names ("The' 'WareHouse", "Police' 'Squad", "Police' 'Squad_1x05.mpg").

  5. Okay, removed all the spaces and:

    get_path('input.conf') -> '/Users/greg/.mplayer/input.conf'
    Can't open input config file /Users/greg/.mplayer/input.conf : No such file or directory
    Can't open input config file /usr/local/etc/mplayer/input.conf : No such file or directory

    get_path('The.conf') -> '/Users/greg/.mplayer/The.conf'

    Playing /Volumes/The

    File not found: '/Volumes/The'

    get_path('PoliceSquad1x06.mpg.conf') -> '/Users/greg/.mplayer/PoliceSquad1x06.mpg.conf'

    Playing WareHouse/TVEPS/PoliceSquad/PoliceSquad1x06.mpg
    Not an URL!
    File not found: 'WareHouse/TVEPS/PoliceSquad/PoliceSquad1x06.mpg'

    there are no spaces whatsoever in the partition name, the subfolders, or any of the folders following down to the correct folder where my files are, PLEASE tell me that I don't need to change every single folder on that particular drive! Also if there's a problem with the drive where my mencoder, etc is, I can fix that, but when I install, they seem to go wherever they feel like it, so how can I know which folders to fix?
    We're getting there....

  6. Remove the space from your disk name.
