  1. I am trying to mimic an effect that I saw on a TV show....I would like to try to show you this effect...its only about 3 seconds long, but I think it I insert 2 or 3 pictures, it will be pretty clear what is going on.

Im just curious how to create this effect myself. I have premier 6.5 and AE, but have been unsuccessful in my attempts.

It starts out having multiple copies of the same picture...

then it zooms out slightly, while the multiple copies begin to remerge into 1 solid picture.

Finally the picture remerges and is zoomed out as far as it goes...(its not in all the way cause I could get it paused as that exact split second. pretty close.

The color is not a problem....thats easy...but this is really something else.
Does anybody know how to do this? I would like to know please.

    Thanks

It's hard to see but check out Ghost & Color Offset in Premiere, might work.

  3. I can't say I have ever done anything quite like this but you might be able to do this with 3 (or more) copies of the video on the timeline in Premiere.

    Video1 stays normal,

Video 2 is moved up and right at the start, then using the transform filter (I think?), move it back to its original position over the required period.
Do the same with Video 3, but more so. And so on if you want it more enhanced.

All the videos will need to be overlaid over a solid black or white background with chroma key to ensure they render correctly.

Although not discussed specifically, you can get loads of help with effects in Premier at www.wrigleyvideo.com
