Lo People, I have been playing around and successfully created some DVD's. I have a problem though. I noticed, when i get a DVD it states PAL 4:3 on the actual cd. when i rip the vobs to hdd with smartripper and then run DVD2AVI, it states NTSC 4:3. I was wondering, while loading the standard templates in TMPGEnc where you choose VideoCD (PAL) or (NTSC) which one it will be ? Have anyone come accross something like this ? Do i use the info on the actal CD or the info from DVD2AVI ??

I would trust DVD2AVI, but to be safe check the frame rate. If it's 25fps it's PAL. 29.97/23.976fps then it's NTSC.
