I downloaded a SVCD, and I want to make it a DVD with selectable subtitles!
Is there any guide for it?, pls give me the link!

well.. a quick and dirty solution would be
use vcdgear to extract the mpg from the svcd
open the mpg in VDUBMOD
frameserve to TMPG (or to other encoders, though you'll need to resize correctly)
keep in mind youi could add selectable subtitles to the SVCD you have if your DVD player supports them (no reencode necessary) -

coz i HAVE a .mpg and I wanna make it a .vob (.ifo etc) WITH selectable subs.... -
well I have never done that but how about trying
open the mpg in VDUBMOD and frameserve to tmpgenc to encode to DVD
then mux the subtitles to the output file (with maestroSBT+winsubmux??)
then author the DVD
i might be talking complete nonsense here since i have no idea how to create a dvd whatsoever, and even if im right im pretty sure you're gonna have subsync problems that you would have to be adjusted somehow, sorry...
