  1. Seems like a strange question but does anyone know how to capture what is being shown on a pc monitor? I.e winamp playing and i want to record the visualisations (in high quality without juddering or slow playback) so camstudio is not really any use.

I am only wanting to create an "effects" disk so low quality is out of the questions - there must be someway i'm sure but it's a Sunday and i've a hangover so the brain is not in gear

Any info or help would be muc appreciated.

    Josh.

  4. Go to Google type "screen capture software" without the quotes.
There was a lot of software listed. Some of the best that I have tried:
    MediaCam AV 2.7.2
    HyperCam 1.71
    CamTasia Studio

    Hope this helps.

  5. You have to disable Hardware Acceleration. In Camstudio if you capture >352x240 you need a fast CPU.
