  1. I have a S560-D Sony DVD player which according to another site (found from this site) has no problem playing DVD+RW disks, but does not like CD-Rs. I would like to play some music I have compiled from CD collection, but since a CD-R cannot do it, I was wondering if simply recording the WAV files to the different disk type would allow them to play. Sorry if this is a stupid question...

  2. I don't know that player, but I doubt it can play straight WAV's - you would have to compile an audio CD instead of just chucking raw WAV's on it as a rule.

Sony players can be a little difficult to source media for - I have listed several CD-R's that work in my 535 on numerous occasions here in these forums. Do a search for my username and keywords like "type 8" and "535" and you should come up trumps.
