I've used verbatim dvd+r but I can't find the kind I use anywhere at the moment. I am just wondering how the Memorex and Fuji Disks are? And which one is better? Thanx for any input on the matter

You can't really buy dvd's by brand. They aren't consistent on where they get their disks. One time you might get a spindle that works perfectly, the next time you may get 30% coasters. Verbatim is not immune to this either, though if you buy the ones from Singapore or Japan you should be fairly safe.
Ok, so where does that leave you? Buy Ritek G04's online if you are shopping for +R disks. If you can use -R disks, look for Made in Japan on the container. The Maxell 2x -R disks available at Walmart are a good choice. As are the Fuji 4x -R disks at Best Buy (made in Japan).
