I have digital cable, is it possible to run a lead from the digital cable to the pc and watch the channels on the computer? If so, what cable would I need? It would be good to record stuff from the tv on my computer.
I have a tv card.
Thanks![]()

Use a splitter after the cable box, you have all your channels, digitaland non, but you watch the same as the TV and the tuner on the card has to be set to 3 or 4, whichever you use on the TV or VCR, if on is in line.
Split the line before the cable box, you use the card's tuner to watch the non-digital channels. Digital has to go through the box, but you have both options to change as you need.
Probably could do this with a couple A-B switches or something, I just haven't given it any thought.
Cheers,
George
