if i am recording off the digital tv, should i use dvd ram? whats the diff between dvdram and dvdr, dvdrw and the rest.

Hehehehe. You won't be "recording off the digital TV" -- you'll be recording the signal that comes through your cable line, or satellite receiver, or TV antenna on your roof. Your "digital TV" will only be "showing" you what you're playing through it.Originally Posted by lansky
Bottom line, your "TV" has nothing to do with whatever kind of blank DVD you might record onto.
