    NEC ND1300A Dual DVD±R/W $102
    Pioneer A06D Dual DVD±R/W $118
    Sony DRU510 Dual DVD±R/W $139

Is this even believable Just 1 yr ago, all of the above burners were OVER 200 bux. 6 months ago, I paid 230 bux for my GSA LG-4040. And now, in the Fry's ad, they have a dual format burner for $89.00 I think that we will be in good shape in the future. These companies are so desperate to get our money that they are selling this stuff at fantastic prices within 1 yr. of release. Dual layer burners will be out next yr. If you can be patient and wait for 18 months (9 months for the 1st editions to work the bugs out, and 9 months for the prices to drop), then within 2 yrs. of them coming out, you'll be able to get a decent quality dual layer burner for less than $150.00. This whole thing is amazing. I still remember dual format burners being FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS when they 1st hit the market!

  3. My thoughts exactly. What I'm looking for now is HiDef projetion wide screen TVs to follow the same pattern. Prices for these seem to be slipping a bit already.
    Pull! Bang! Darn!

What are you talking about? Prices on HDTV projection widescreen TVs are already dirt cheap. I bought my 57" Sony HDTV about 3 years ago at $4500 and now they run only $2000-2700!!!
