Hi,
I want to take an XviD AVI file and put the subs onto the movie from the .srt file that goes with it. I know that ffmpegX does not allow you to do this with VCD, only with SVCD and DVD. So, I tried to use TitleLab to convert the .srt into .txt for Quicktime. The problem is, the video I have is in XviD, and I need it to be in .mov to attch the subs to the movie. DDII couldn't do it. I tried going into mencoder and putting in the command:
mencoder -ovc lavc -oac pcm /file/1.avi -o /file/2.avi
And the file that came out of it was great, but this file won't convert to .mov either because when I try to using DDII, it becomes only a green screen. Then I searched around and tried AviRay, but it didn't do anything to the video during the three hours I waited for something to happen. I am out of ideas, and I need to get these subs onto the movie and convert it to VCD, so any help at all would be appreciated.
Thanks,
wolfwood87
