I authored and burn a DVD+R with TMPEGenDVDAuthor. It plays fine on standalone player. When I tried to use Nero 6 to make extra copies with Pioneer A06, the program aborted with "Can't copy to DVD" message. I tried using DVDShrink but also failed. Power DVD refused to play this disc. How can I make a copy from it?

Open the DVDr in *my computer*, find the files, drag them to your HD, then burn them as usual.

I've never had a problem copying a DVD using Nero 6, so I've never seen the warning u report.

Power DVD sucks. It's glitchy and picky about what it will play. Try WinDVD.

Thanks Bodene. When I try to explore the disc on "My Computer", an error message "F:\is not accessible" pop up. I think my A06 can't read the files on the DVD+R. May be the disc has not been closed.

  4. the AO6 is dual format so it shouldn't have any trouble reading - or + format. The disc should also be readable even if it's not closed, as you burnt it on the same drive and system that you are trying to read it with.

Could you add your method and error messages, it may help someone to help you a little more.

    Thanks
