You are usint two word that dont go together well there..
Ps 2 & Cheap.
Stick to Ritek's or other well known brands. I get my Riteks from svp in the UK cost around a quid a disk cant go wrong as i know they work for me on a Ps2...
Another point can you try and keep to the same thread this is the 3rd one around this subject you have startedMakes it hard to keep track....

I would agree use only ritek disc's, well worth a pound a disc.
i used to use cheapo's & they ended up costing more as they would not work..
the funny thing is tho with the PS2 is that i need to use ritek's for movies i back up to watch on the ps2 but when i have backed up my games with the cheap media they still work....
i find that strange that on cheap media films wont work but games do???? -
Forgive my ignorance but which media works best -R or +R
Only tried 1 TY+R on a ps2 and would only play menu!
