    I have succesfully ripped various dvd's using smartripper and he other tools suggested on this site with no problem. In fact i can only praise the site and the software people for what they do.

    However I ripped a movie and the final VCD was not in English.( The original dvd when started asked you to choose your langauge in the dvd player)

    If a dvd is in various languages how do i tell the software to rip the english soundtrack? - Is itr possible.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    As long as you rip with smartripper in simple movie mode, the vob's contain all audio tracks. Select the correct one in DVD2AVI.
    Or go to the stream processing tab in smartripper and select the tracks you want.

    You can use Flask to find number of the audiotrak you want.
    (shows English, German, etc. when you open the Dvd.ifo)
