ok, I just wanted to backup my dvd collection and I used dvdxcopy with 1 dvd reader drive and one dvd+r(w) drive. My question is that I go to play back these backups on my GE dvd player OR my puter and sometimes I get short 1-2 second pauses every 30 min or so throughout the movie. And sometimes the audio cuts in and out and the screen jumps every second for about one minute at least two times through the movie. I use maxell or tdk dvd+r in my HP300n writer. If there is anything I can do different please let me know. TY for the help
Ps. This doesnt happen to EVERY dvd I burn....but a few have and I restart right before I copy and I also turn my screensaver off...dont know that this info was relevant

If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0

Sounds like it might be your media,i was burning dvd-r with no problems then all of a sudden errors on my blanks,a few dvd`s later no errors from the same batch.

Although I'm a rookie at burning, I'd have to agree it's either the media (99% sure) or it's your video card drivers.
The first set of disc's I bought was about 60% successful.
I purchased a different brand and type and I am now at 100%.
No coasters!
For the longest time I was having all of my dvd playback do the funky chicken. Jumping around, etc...
By pure mistake, I found out it was my video card drivers causing the mess. I went back to some older drivers, and I haven't had any problem since.
Good luck,
H.
