  1. What program will allow me to join a series of mpg files into one long file? Maybe this is not what I am supposed to do, but I have downloaded a series of files that end like this: filename.mpg, filename•02.mpg, filename•03.mpg, etc. (Note the mid-dot before the number.) I tried using Split&Concat, but it says the filenames are not correct named. I don't think this is a simple concat issue, though. Also, it seems that the video format is svcd.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Tony

You can always rename the files. Anyway, TMPGEnc Merge & Cut function can join MPEG files without encoding.
    Hello.

how many times do I HAVE TO TELL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO PC ANSWERS IN MAC FORUM!

Its not like this is the first time you have done this! Ive even told you about this before. NEXT TIME I SEE THIS, ITS YELLOW CARD TIME

    Now, for joining those files
    1. im assuming these are :legal: downlaods.
    2. remove the • from the file name, thats an illegal character
    3. download eiher ffmpegx or mpgtxwrap
    4. choose one and use the join functions.

im assuming you can figure out how to do that with the apps, they are pretty straight forward.
ffmpegx will have a TOOLS tab, join is in there.
mpgtx wrap is a splitter/joiner so its mostly what it does.

    enjoy
