You need the AVT-8710 Time Base Corrector which can be purchased on-line from the AV TOOL BOX website.

This is an external device that is a TBC (Time Base Corrector) but unlike the TBC built-into the Panasonic DVD recorders the AVT-8710 will remove ALL forms of copy protection from the video source that you pass thru it. This will allow you to record copy proteced DVD videos (as well as VHS etc.) to your Panny stand alone DVD recorder.

There are cheaper devices that attempt to remove copy protection but most will only remove MACROVISION. The problem is that most DVD discs have both MACROVISION and CGMS/A and the AVT-8710 will remove both.
