  1. Hello, quick question,

Can nero format dvd+r discs? I need to format some, but not sure how to do it in nero. If nero doesn't support formatting of dvd+r, what software does? TIA

  4. I am trying to create an image of my harddrive using Acronis TrueImage 6.0, and it says I format the DVD+R media then burn it as UDF.

  5. "IT" is either in error or incorrect. By "IT" I'm assuming the Acronis software?

  6. This was taken from Acronis' website:

    1. Install UDF packet DVD — writing software.

    2. Format the DVD disks. DVD+RW and DVD-RW disks can be formatted by all software mentioned above, while DVD-R and DVD+R at this moment can be formatted only by Roxio DirectCD.

Sounds like a pretty bad error, unless Roxio DirectCD really does format?

  7. Roxio Direct CD does in fact format CDR's I don't know about DVD+-r's. This is so you can drag and drop just like a floppy. Hence the name " Direct CD".
