Cool, thanks.
Yeah, I plan on also making a DVD to DiVX guide. Maybe an iPhoto to (S)VCD guide as well. I also really need to update my DVD to SVCD guide.
ffmpegX is where it's at!

The prog: amazing!
The guide: simple, I love it!
I was wondering...
Do I have to export the imovieCan't I use the 'link'ed *.mov file from the movie folder? or export expert setting --> movie (not self contained)? or is this not recommended because of sync or other complications?
Also could this guide be used for miniDVD (author as DVD --> sizzle). For menu purposes, of course.
TIA

You can use the .mov file in the movie folder. There is no .mov created in versions previous to iMovie 3 so that's why I said to export the movie. Yes, you could also use the export to expert settings option.
I suppose it could be used for miniDVD (never tried it). Although, if you desire menus on an svcd, a great tool to use is VCD Builder. It's easy to use and you can also set chapter markers.
