Remove region or NTSC-2-PAL? which one

ok so here's what i'm trying to do:

i want to watch downloaded mpg videos (ntsc 29fps) on my pal playstation 2. i burnt one to test last night, but it plays black and white so what needs to be done to get it playing. i mean, is it the region thats the problem (i burnt with CloneDVD which i heard removes regions anyway??), or is it a NTSC-2-PAL conversion that is needed (which i read is difficult)? basically whats the best way i can go about this? thanks alot.

You need to convert to Pal. There are many forum threads and several guides on various methods for doing this depending on your source and destination formats. Try doing some searching and reading.

try doing this. load the mpeg into dvd2avi and save project, that will create a d2v file and a wav file. load those 2 files into TMPEGnc and encode it to Pal dvd. it works for me
