  1. I am trying to back up T2, and I noticed that there are 3 versions of the movie. Which one is the best to back up?
    The movie lengths are:
    1. 02:16:04.03
    2. 02:33:02.01
    3. 02:35:43.17
They are all linked, so I'll have to use DVDShrink to do it.

  2. There are several different versions of this movie - your version is clearly different to mine !!

Which is it - please let us know what type of (special) edition it is, what region etc. Someone might have done the same disc and be able to assist.

I believe the third one has all the extra scenes, and #1 is the original version.

If its a 2 disc set, the other disc contains a Hi Def version of T2 that's considerably better quality than a DVD..

unfortunately, the file is encoded to MPEG-4 and can only be watched on one machine after its cleared with MICROSOFT digital rights management..
It was nearly impossible to play my purchased copy of the HI DEF
    edition
    1. YOU CANNOT PLAY IT ON A TELEVISION (duh! its Hi-DEF)
    2. Its requiring a CRT or Flat sceen with 22 inch screen or seperate HI_DEF television receiver
    3. It would not authorize me to play the title after repeated attemts..
It kept telling to put the DISC in the drive for MICROSOFT DIGITAL RIGHT AUTHENTICATION..what do you think started the damn process!..I clicked on a link on the disc itelf..and 10 minutes later (I am on dial up) the damn thing is telling me to put this disc in the drive..GO FIGGURE) It turns out If you have more than one DVD drive attached to the system..MICROSOFT blows up..It required my accidentally trying again from my other older drive in the machine..AND THIS TIME IT WORKED !!
You need a 3.06 GIG processor+ a 8X AGP card to play the Hi DEF version without skipping frames.. (I'm skipping frames over here)

    1. is the original theatrical release
    2. has deleted scenes added
    3. has the deleted scenes from #2, along with an alternate ending (determined to be too cheesy, which is why it was not included in the theatrical release)

I prefer the #2 version, myself......
    You can't fool me, I'm a moron!
