Hi all, My toshiba SD 3109 has firmware revision 1.8 R1. It does not play any DVD-r's. The player detects the disc but then returns an error message as 'Check Disc'.
I was told that a Firmware upgrade should help. However the upgrade is about $75 which is very close or more than a new player. Does any one know if I can buy the Firmware cable and upgrade the software revision myself.
Really appreciate any leads which could help me get this player fixed.
I live in Somerset, NJ
