ppl read this https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=718811#718811 and see if I'm breaking any rules. I never said anything in my post to ask for warez or pirating stuff. Adam is making me out to look like a reject. I simply asked for a link for working instant copy. And then I talked to a friend that said he has 7 and will burn it for me. Think about it dvd ripping is warez in a form 2, and both are breaking the law. But see I never stating any thing, these are adams assumptions. Here is what I wrote him hopefully he writes me back.



HAHA, buddy you totally off key here. Steal software no one said anything about stealing anything. You need to tilt thoughs spectacles better and learn to read more closely. I simply asked for a working link for instant copy because their homepage never would send it to me. Then guys showed me a ftp link which I'm grateful for. But then a guy at my college said he had 7 so why bother with the trial when I have the full blown version. I never asked for any advice for anything. And think about it ripping dvd's are illegal also hrmm. And don't stand there so innocent like you never have gotten warez before. LOL if you say no you are full of shit. You asked for someone to send you software you haven't paid for. Sounds like you broke the rules to me.

It's really irrelevant if any members here steal software or not, it's a question of following the rules.

well well... from reading the original post I couldn´t tell he was breaking the rules, but then after I read what cobra wrote for a reply to that guy I could then imagine he was talking about the warez.

But really, at first he did want the trial version from the Pinacles homepage, then a guy offered an FTP link for the trial version and then Cobra said his friend has the 7th version and is able to burn it for him....
There is no mentioning it is warez, he could might aswell burn the trial. There were no mentioning either Cobra wanted the full working software without paying for it and the Trial is free to download, try and even burn to a disc

And yes... the reply Cobra made was total uneccessary

Although im not a moderator, I assume the reason Adam stated was because it is a generic reply used in cases of illegal software use. So what if he said warez and in actuality he could have said recieveing a copy of copyrighted software(

I'm no moderator, but since you didn't purchase a copy of Instant Copy 7 yourself, I think it falls in the warez category - or at least a very dark gray area. But I think that because your friend didn't transfer ownership of the software to you, he simply made you a copy, it's considered warez.

And it doesn't really matter if Adam, or bugster, has ever gotten illegal copies of software/warez - if they have, they haven't announced it, especially on a forum where warez is not allowed.

You just have to think about what you are going to say, before you type it

And it is legal to copy/make back-ups of DVDs that you legally own, as long as they are for your own personal use - you're not going to sell them, give them away, etc.

So I wouldn't get on the Mods about that.

Just move on, and in a very short while people will have forgotten all about it.

Of course you broke the rules. You came out and admitted that your friend burned you a copy of his version of InstantCopy. That is illegal. Your friend bought it, you did not. Then you asked for help in dealing with this illegal copy. You asked if it was good and if you would be able to upgrade it. We will not help you break the law, so please stop asking. Just as the thread before, this one will also be locked. If you have a problem with any of the mods or with any particular threads than take it up with the staff of this board privately.
