I ripped hollow man to my hard drive. Now when I open one of the files you can hear people talking about the movie and hear the movie in the background. just wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of the talking or is this a security measure to ripping some dvd's?

No its not a security measure its just part of the Vob however when you encode it with TMPgenc you wont hear those voices in your MPEG. Actually I think DVD2AVI Get's the data from a different Track.

HAHAHAHA! Thats funny, real funny! TMPGEnc has noting to do with taking the Editor's Comments out of the audio! HAHAHA!
Hey dude, you ripped the wrong audio file from your VOBs with DVD2AVI! Go back and try ripping another track, your looking for the movie English, not the Editor's Comments track, what ever that was on!
If you dont know what Im talking about, search the forum for Cast Away... Similar there, track 1 doesnt hold the English! 99% of what you have ripped so far, you left the default track to 1, and never knew there was any other to rip. Also, try DVDx, nifty program tells you which track English is on...
Best yet, why not just use DVDx to frameserve via AVIsynth to TMPGEnc? Nifty, quick, and you wont screw up next time!
Good luck...
