Can anyone steer me to take a DVD-9 disc with 40 seperate VOB's to 2 discs. The majoritiy of the disc is audio so shrinking is out of the question I already tried with Dvd2one does not get even close to size

this post is very simlar to another guy wanting to split a DVD containing 40 VOB's I'm sure, though I'm not 100% certain
DVDFAB and DVDStripper can split DVD's. I'm not sure about DVDFAB but DVDStripper allows you to keep menu's on both. I also know Ifoedit can split DVD's but although I have used Ifoedit 1000's of times I cannot recall ever using this feature
you could use Ifoedit to do it another way too. Check out the 2 Replace Movie/Extras PGC options HERE. You can use Ifoedit and just blank out 20 VOB's on each DVD
CloneDVD, Nero Recode, IC and Menuedit will all remove content therefore you can process twice to create a split also -
I have used Ifoedit to split one successfully but that was one movie, This disc is 40 seperate sets of VOB's the VOB's are small in size. I don't even care about the video. It's basically an audio DVD that just shows a picture while talking on the screen. I'll play around with it. I might try just taking the audio out and making alot of audio Cd's . It's the audio I want backed up. The audio is like 800 mins

is it pal or ntsc?
this should be simple to split using Ifoedit using the blank VOB replacement method as I'm guessing they will all have one VOB/CELL ID
do you know how do do it?
it's in the guides I linked to above
you can't get easier than DVDShrink in reauthor but are you planning on keeping menu's? -
Thanks MackemX It's NTSC the guide doesn't look too hard to follow I will give it a try and post how it comes out.
