  1. Does anyone know of a good program that will fix a bad spot in a wmv/asf file? I tried the ones in the tools section, they both do the same thing. They just cut the file off at the corrupt part. This is not what I want it to do, I need the whole file to be playable.

    You can try to open it in VirtualDub (but you need a version earlier than 1.3, since they removed ASF support), and edit it, then export it as an AVI, I had some success this way.
