My dvd-r wont play on my dvd player

I burned a memorex dvd-r dvd using dvd shrink and nero but i wont play on my dvd player. Is there some way that I can get some software that i can download so that my dvd will play on my dvd player. The dvd plays on computers and on ps2 but not on dvd players. I tried playin it on samsung m301, apex ad-1000 and ge digital and it didnt work on any of them.

What version of NERO do you have? You need at least 5.5.10.42
I've had the same problems, but since I use this version no problems at all. Don't know or the newest version better is, because I didn't try it yet and don't want to because NERO works just fine for me. Works on a PS2, pc and all the standalone dvdplayers I've tested.

But as you can read in a lot of topics, NERO gives a lot problems with standalone dvdplayers.

i just fixed my problems with this by opening my dvd player and ripping the standard shitty dvd player out of it and replaced it with a new computer dvd-rom and set it to master now it plays all type dvd-+r/rw

I use Nero 5.0. Is there another program that works better or should I try to burn it as dvd video instead of dvd(iso/ufo)?

all freeware tools and no problems playing. More than likely your version of nero is the problem
