Companies that sell Macrovision removers talk about Macro 2, a form of macro that has color striping. I have never seen this kind of phenomena. Can someone tell me which movie has this kind of Macrovision?

Try running your DVD player to your TV through a VCR. You will see macrovision as a random, general loss of color through the movie.

If you put a type 1 only macro eliminator between you DVD player and VCR you get rid of the flashing and brightness level changes. However when you play the tape copy you see no flashing or brightness changes but you will see thin green bars rollling thru the picture, that's type 2 macro. Type 2 only rears it's ugly head when you playback the tape copy,it does not show on screen while your copying the DVD.

I am running a Pacific 1002 through a JVC VHS into my TV and have never had problems watching DVDs. No macrovision problems at all watching, but obviously taping is a different situation. Why dont I get macrovision interference when watching DVDs through my Video player ?
Buddha says that, while he may show you the way, only you can truly save yourself, proving once and for all that he's a lazy, fat bastard.
