I have a video capture card and a Sony DRU-510A burner. I'm interested in capturing directly off the feed the capture card sees direct to DVD-R. In essence, I want my internal DVD burner to do what an external based home DVD burner system would do for taping shows on DVDRW discs and so on. Can this be done or am I stuck with capturing to VCD/SVCD format on the hard drive and then burning that crappy quality onto the DVDRW media?

NeoDVD will do this as well - but I would test it first on something you can afford to lose, like a capture from VHS, rather than something from TV that might be difficult to capture again if the burn messes up, like a live broadcast.
