Don't know where else to post this as there is no dedicated CD/DVD-ROM drive forum so I'm posting it here (Mods, feel free to move it to the appropriate forum).
Anyhow, I saw this at Hot Deals Club and some of you may be interested in picking one up (if they still have 'em in stock):
OfficeMax - DVD-ROM drive $9, maybe
Some OfficeMax stores around the country are selling Cendyne 16x48 DVD-ROM/CD-ROM drive for $9. They are probably just clearing out their final stock of Cendyne drives, since Cendyne went out of business in August. Here is an OfficeMax http://s87174844.onlinehome.us/omax.jpg]ad[/url] found in a newspaper in California. This clearance sale is regional, and may be in your local OfficeMax store. Also note that the pricetag on the shelf most likely shows a $70 price, but when scanned at the register it comes up as $9. OfficeMax item number 2014-8190 and UPC "6 83728 00085 1".
