  1. Does the INTEL Desktop Board D875PBZ support Ultra ATA/133 hard drives? ..i'm using 80GB ultra ATA 100 2mb but i am thinking to add a new hard drive.....160GB Ultra ATA 133 8mb.the thing is i dont want to spend alot of money on ATA 133 if my computer doesn't support 133.
another question is ....if i use 2 hard drives 100 and 133 at the same time...it's gonna run at 100 or 133?

i think i have to add a card to run at 133

    thank you

As near as I can find, it doesn't offer ATA133 support. If you have this board already, I wouldn't be afraid to use a ATA133 drive. Most of the time I doubt if you would notice a difference in speed between 133 and 100. Be sure to use a 80 conductor cable (probably included with the drive). Seems strange to me that this board doesn't offer ATA133 support. You can use a seperate controller for ATA133, but it may not be any faster. As far as mixing ATA133 and ATA100 drives and what speed they would run, it depends more on the board than the drives. Most drives will never operate at their listed speed. The ATA133 is probably a good choice.
