  1. I have problem playing DVD-R disk ripped using DVDFab RC1 Final on my Sony DVP-S550. The same disk will play fine on myh Electrohome DVD player. I got the error code "c 13 00" on the Sony. If I take the Video folder created by DVDFab and create an pdi file using InstantCopy 7, the burnt disk will play. How can I found out why? I also tried run DVDShrink on the same video_ts folder created by DVDFab and the burnt disk will not play also.

    hmmmmmmmmmm

I know Sony's are fussy and I used to get the dirty disc error when the DVD had compliancy issues but take a read of these threads

I would like to hope yours is just because the DVD structure is faulty and not the player as you also say Shrink cannot open the DVD but Shrink checks the structure and refuses to load any dodgy DVD's

it plays on your other standalone but that's probably more forgiving
