I had a previous post on .avi conversion to DVD and basically had the question answered. Here is where I am at now...
Cucusoft offers the option to convert .avi to DVD which I selected. If anyone uses this software, I would appreciate an answer.
The program took my .avi file through the first conversion which took about 6 and 1/half hours. It then switched to the Audio Conversion which took about 1/2 hour following with the combining of the audio and video, about 5 minutes. I think there may have been a quick scan of the audio again which took only 30 seconds.
Finally, during the Multiplexing, I was about 50% through the process and received a message, "Could not write to out put file". This was my fault I think as I also got a message that I was running low on disk space. I should have switched drives in designating the destination file, (I have two) and I think that may have interrupted the process.
Is there any way that I can avoid going through the whole process again with the existing file that was created? Also, is it OK to designate another drive for the destination process?
Thanks-
Norma
