  1. I just recently discovered VCD's. I created my first one just tonight, after figuring out how to convert AVI to MPEG. Once I burnt the VCD, I put it into my DVD player. The video showed up perfectly, but I'm not getting any sound. What should I do to fix this? I have absolutely no clue. Thanks.

  3. Yes, the MPEG had sound, it works fine on the computer. I used Easy CD Creator 5 by Roxio to burn the cd.

  4. well, for one thing, adaptec sucks. i think u should use nero just go to a warez site and download an ISO for it (that wasn't a link or a request).

  5. I had the same problem. I captured analog camcorder with Dazzle VC USB, made an MPEG, then used VCDImager Easy. Burning with my HP 8290e (had to force generic-mmc-raw driver). Video comes up clean on my Philips DVD (CDR,VCD Compliant), but jerky. No sound but clicks and noise. What am I doing wrong?

I set the MPEG output for 'TV Quality' template to reduce the bitrate. I think there's a VCD setting - will that fix it?

    2 coasters & counting!
