    I have searched and read a few other posts but none of them help. I have a vob file that i would like to convert to .mpg or .mov but TMPGenc wont let me add the vob. I read somewhere that DVDx converts to these file formats could anybody please help. Any ideo of whoch programs to use.

    First, why do you want to do that ?
    VOBs are already MPEG2 essentially

    Vobedit will strip the video and the audio from VOBs all in one file
    you can then re-multiplex them together with TMPGenc Mpeg Tools
    into a MPEG2 system stream.
