  1. Just bought the R300. I was wondering if others have purchased and if there is anything I should note before trying to print on Ritek printables. Also looking for suggestions as to the best software (other than what was delivered with the printer) to use to create DVD covers as well as the actual DVD print function. Currently using CoverXP and the only problem I have so far is that the print has a real yellow tinge - suggestions for correction???
    Comments would be greatly appreciated!!!
    Thanks!

  2. I bought the printer last week. I have printer about 10 Ritek 4x DVD-R's and about 20 Ritek CD-R's. The DVD have a smooth surface, I set the printer to use best photo and the rest default. The picture comes out very nice on the disk. It takes about 30 minutes to dry. There is also a setting for glossy DVD/CD, I printer one on this setting. It looked nice but the dry time was about 2-4 hours before it wasn't tacky. It not worth the difference over the normal setting.

I use Microsft Photo Draw 2 for creating the covers and the epson program for printing them.

Thanks for the quick response! I am in the process of trying to print a test disc but seem to have problems with the disc/tray loading... did you experience the same problem? I am following the book exactly but no success... any hints????
    TIA
