One of my favorite videos (no audio) plays ok on Windows Media Player, has an AVI extension, but does not show video on TMPGEnc (apparently not an AVI). I want to convert to VCD to burn it. How can I find out what it is to get it into a format that TMPGEnc will handle?

tmpg doesn't always show the video.
tmpg is not acepting it only if u get an error. a black screen usually means preview is off.
i believe turing preview off is good.
