Any idea if the -R is 2X or 4X?

If their typical -R spindle it is 2x. But can't be sure this time around??? I have seen their 15 spindle 2x on the shelves of several Compu-USAs with outdated prices, now of course this isn't a bad price, NOW

I have an Optorite DD203 and I have gotten a 10 pack of these TDK +R at 4X for $15, and they ran great for me at 4X !!

Thanks for the post, they have them on line at at my local store, I am leaving right now. No mail rebate crap, instant rebate, ya hoo. Great price !!

Yesterday because of a post, I went to best buy to get my favofrite Fujifilm CDRs at 40% off and 10 DVD-Rs at 40% off. Those Fuji CDRs (Taiyo Yuden) are my favorite CDRs, they allow my burner to use the HD-BURN .

I love all of you guys that post this stuff !! A true extended community that stretches around the world.

just got some. Some of the 15 packs are made in Japan, they are 2x. All the packs say "2x" but some of the packs are made in Taiwan(actually has a label covering the made in japan) So maybe those are Ritek G04 4x ???? no idea, I bought the made in japan ones.

BTW: Comp USA also has 3-30 packs of Fuji CDR's for $6 after rebates, and these look like the last of the Fuji CDRs that are Taiyo Yudens, all the other Fuji CDR media is now made in Taiwan, the look just like the TDK's so that sucks! I hope Fuji continues to use TY for their DVD-R 4x media at least. bummer.

Yup got a 15 pack of TDK that were made in Taiwan on sale dvd-r that said 2X. DVDinfo say they are Ritek G04 4x speed. Did a 4x burn and I am happy.

Microcenter was selling 2x TDK -R last week 5 for $5.99 . Most were Ritek G04's.

If you get some, try and get the one that came in especially for the sale. The new ones seem to be all G04's, but anything left laying around is 2x (I guess dust=2x :P )

You cant go wrong either way. I ordered some Ritek's already but Im so tempted to pick up a pack of the -R's.

Good Ricoh discs. burned great @4x on NEC 1300a w_original 1.06.
