  1. In your opinion what is the best software video player? Spacifically for Divx 5.1.1 videos with AC3 5.1 Audio.. For some reason the DivX player doesnt work right for me, and WMP cant call up the AC3 audio config. Thanks

  2. I use BSPlayer for its powerful features that enable changing the aspect ratio and adding subtitles.

    For AC3 I use AC3filter, which has a separate control panel for Ac3 Settings.

  3. Like stated, get AC3Filter. It's a free download. You need it for AC3 audio.

    I use PowerDVD for everything. Best player I've got.

  4. If you use powerDVD, you wont need ac3filter, it does it allx0r.

    I also use powerdvd, but I have problems with it. I have 2 pcs and on both have the same codecs installed, but one of them when playing mpeg2 using powerdvd I can only hear the sound and on the other one only see the picture.

  6. Well, i just downloaded BS Player and its awesome.. i think i will use it. For DVDs i guess i will still use WinDVD. Thanks Guys!
