I have a DVC150 and I’ve been trying to capture at a reduced resolution in order that I can fit more than 1 hour 40 mins on my dvd (which is all Moviemaker lets me do).
I have been trying to use DVXCELKSTest.exe (the test utility that comes along with the DVC150) which has a 2Gb file limit.
It captures fine, splitting the files every 2Gb, but when I try and “burn” the image to a DVD in DVD Complete, it fails with what it says is a “muxing” error.
I just tried DVD Lab with the same files, and it gave an error implying that there was a faulty header on the file – I now know that every time the recording runs over the 2Gb limit, and it starts a second file, it’s the second file that fails the build – seems DVXCELKSTest is not putting a good header on this file or something.
Has anyone got any ideas on how I can resolve this issue with DVXCELKSTest – it’s the only software I can use with the DVC150, so I’m stuck with it and must get it to work!
(I tried the patch to fix the 2gb file limit off the Spawns site, but it corrupted the program so I couldn’t run it.)
Thanks so much in advance – this site rocks! So much great info here, it’s helped me a lot so far!
