  1. I am interested in taking a DVD, extracting some video from it, editing it in Premiere v6.0, and then burning a new DVD.

From what I have seen in some of the posts, it has been suggested to use DVD2AVI. Is this the recommended path? Any other suggestions?

    Thanks

premiere 6 can not import mpeg2 files (directly) , so yes , dvd2avi and frame serve or convert it to something else or get a better editor ..
