Caputred MPEG2 Won't Burn

Ok i used my tv tuner card with SNAPSTREAM (great program) it made an mpeg2 file advertised so i could burn to dvd but in nero i go to DVD-VIDEO and it says the file must be VOB how do i burn this mpeg2?

What do you mean by "best"?The most flexible, the most expensive, the most intuitive or the most simple to use?Have you looked at the tools section or tried IfoEdit?Or what about ULEAD MF?

Don't feel stupid. :c) Just read a bit more. You are closing in on being able to do it.


Go to TOOLS - look under DVD Author and there will be lists of authoring programs. No one can say what's "best". That's for you to decide on price, ease of use, etc. etc. Since you're trying for a first time, look for a mid-range program that offers a free trial period. Many like Ulead products for beginning and also Tmpgenc DVD Author. Go to each website, read what each offers and try a trial version of one or both.

Read all documentation (Help files) that come with each and read through the Authoring section on the left.

You can always settle on one program later. But you'll feel good getting your first disc out with anything to start. :c)
