I have some DVD-RWs (Imation Brand) that I recorded some of my old VHS tapes to using my stand-alone DVD recorder. These recorded fine and playback on my Toshiba SD-470 Player but they will almost never read on my PC using my Toshiba 5002 Writer and my Pioneer 114 reader. I say never because after ejecting and opening it sometimes gets lucky and reads (????) I know for sure that the Pioneer is supposed to be able to read RW as I have seen this infoon the net. Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening?
Also one of the DVD-RWs was recorded in VR mode and I understand I need some sort of UDF reader that can read version 2.0 does anyone have a link?
