VCD question

Hi,
I unsuccessfully tried to burn a VCD for my Apex AD 1100 WB
( with should be compatible )
I burned MPG ( converted with TMPGEnc ) onto a TDK cd-rw650 with VCDeasy.
I tried as PAL and as NTSC but with both my DVD player displays "no valid disk"

Anyone has any sugestion?

ohyeah, if I burn MPG as ISO with Nero I am able to watch them, but not able as VCD/SVCD or adding a menu..

Hmm when i go here nerd-out forum It says that my player does not support VCD while here DVD Players it says it does.. Now I guess i first have to install the firmware, but im kind of a n00b at this terain so i need to know if i install this firmware is it possible to uninstall it again? ( in case it f*cks up my DVD player )
