    Not yet --they plan to support it --but their current 4.5 software shows this pioneer support list with the most recent underlined BELOW

  4. I see, thank u very much for the reply.... is there a program out there I can use until they support my burner? a program very similar to recordnow max? I have NERO 6 and I dont like it... neither does my computer also what is the difference between ATAPI and SCSI? cause when I leave my burner in my computer without another cdrom I get a error saying it isnt a compatible ATAPI drive or somethin... what does this mean?

    Now we're getting DEEP
    SCSI =small computer system interface
    ATAPI=(ibm)at attachment peripheral interface

    These are two different computer terms
    ATAPI is a way of attaching a drive to your motherboard
    while
    SCSI is a protocol that ATAPI and devices called SCSI use also..
    they are not mutually exclusive as ATAPI devices may make use of the SCSI layer
    Please run this file as it will fix the "SCSI layer" (software for windows systems) that may be not furnished(depending on which win you run) or removed by rogue applications

    EZ CD CREATOR 5.xxxx
    will work with your drive..but one caveat

    DO NOT BURN PROJECT less than 4 gigabytes to DVD-R or +R with this program

    It often fails to close the SESSION and FINALZE the burn for SET TOP PLAYBACK

    this only happens on less then 4 gig burns ..
    as a message will always pop up when EZ-CD CREATOR PLATIUM senses over 4 gigs and will properly inform you it intends to CLOSE (FINALYZE) the DVD DATA DISC you are burning

    (really a DVD VIDEO but they have no special settting for this)

    I would go to the device manager
    expland out IDE/ATAPI Controllers
    remove the primary and secondary..then immediately

    reeboot..
    Windows XP will take longer than normal upon reboot,
    but after that will reinstall the IDE BUSSES, fixing any problwm that the ADAPTEC drivers have given your system

    Hope this does it, if in fact you are experiencing a problem from the ASPI update..
    If this doesn't work..go to the ADAPTEC site where the file came from

  11. Are you guys on drugs or something? The dvr-106 works fine with recordnow max.

  12. As whatever posted, RecordNow MAX supports the DVR-106. I am using version 4.50 of the program with no problems at all. Can burn at 1x, 2x, and 4x.

  14. yes I have version "orlogix 4.5" and it works fine now... although I dont like it as much as my recordnow max 3.0, it doesnt tell me how fast its gonna burn till the last second, and in the recording options there is no longer an option to burn a dvd with "closed DAO". Another thing is that it wont let me burn to some media I have, butr when I try with CopyToDVD it works fine and burns great. Im not happy!
