Hi there,
I am new here, and am waiting for my new Philips DVDR75 recorder to be delivered. Is it possible to connect a DVD player (one that will play SVCDs) to the Philips recorder and transfer an SVCD to a DVD+R disc? I know that I can connect a VCR machine and transfer VHS tapes, but I am not sure about SVCDs. Or do you have to do it using a computer, software, video capture card, and DVD burner? I have heard a couple of conflicting answers, so am still wondering.
Thanks![]()

Why not. You can record any video signal that does not have copy protection in it. It does not mater what is source.

Thanks a lot for the info! I am so glad it's possible to do that. It will be much easier for me to do it that way
