Quick question about MYdvd?

I just got a quick question,
I just recentlly got a dvd burner , an I been making alot of compilation dvdr's with different stuff.

Mostlly Ive been puttong some tv shows onto dvd,

well Im useing MYdvd,, [it came with my burner]
an this is about the only way i know how to make a dvd ,, with all the menus an music/pictures in the menu etc.

1st question,
any suggestions on anything like MYdvd, ? Like software that helps to design your own dvd,
I mean to design your own stuff ,then like drag your files onto it ,
ya know,,kinda like what myDVD does!

i like MYdvd, your just kinda limited to what you can do,ya know,

cause pretty much what i been doing with this mydvd, is drag-n-drop vcd files , then getting like 4 or 5 files onto 1 dvd, then useing like a wallpaper for the menu, an useing an mp3 of something for the theme music,
see ive still not learned to master a vob files etc.
anyway,

so is there any other kinda software I could use to design my dvdr's?

There are many different DVD authoring tools on the market today. They vary from cheap and cheerful to powerful proffesional level system. What you need depends very much on what you want. I suggest you take a look at the tools section where you will find a DVD authoring tools list with features listed for each package, then you can decide what will suit your needs, skills and budget.

BTW, several of these packages have trial versions so you can try before you buy.

I suggest a trial to DVD-Lab, which is my personal favorite. It's what I switched to from MyDVD.

like i said above , Im still new 2 all this stuff

i thought I was just getting the hang of making vcd's \
which took me forever, going thru the headaches of codecs,encoding,
which software 2 use etc.

an with no one to show me how to do anything, an learn on my own.
Kinda started from nothing,

when i hit a bump i'd just ask around on forums an chats, a lots an lots of reading 'how to ' stuff,,

but I noticed you couldnt get a hole lot onto a vcd,

so I envested in a dvd burner , which i love
but Im starting all over again ya know

My dvd works an it aint hard 2 use for novice users like me,

I just wish I had more options , like different menus an such,

i guess I'll try the dvdlab 1st,
