    I want to download the music video for Alone by slick shoes off their website (www.slickshoes.net) and every time I try it only downloads the first 30 seconds, I would have thought it was their fault, but I have had similar problems downloading mpegs from places like http://bemanistyle.com/ and various others. what am I doing wrong? please help.

    turn off all download accelerators, and associate mpgs with no program. check your network connection.

    Definately no download accelerators!!!! They sorta work only for very specific files/sites.

    Is that 30 seconds of video or 30 seconds of download. Some sites only give you samples of 30 seconds unless you pay $$$.

    I don't have any download accelerators! http://www.slickshoes.net/multimedia/video/alone.mpg try getting it yourself, see what happens.

    lol, yeah, watch it. you get the first 30 seconds from that 7.69 mb, thats the same thing that happened to me.

    That is the whole mpeg. They cut it short. At that resolution, the entire song would be more like 25MB, not 8MB.
