I'm trying to capture a episode from one of my video tapes... and i'm sure it's macrovision, the video player i'm using is a dvd/video combi
it's called Samsung SV-DVD3E.... does anyone know how i can get around it and be able to capture the video?

You have a DV camera with pass through? The Canopus ADVC-100? A TBC? These also defeat Macrovision.

erm no... i don't have a digital camcorder, hmm is there anything else that can defeat macrovision?

I told you, the ADVC-100 can do it. So can a time-based corrcetor.If you are looking around the garage, see if you can find an older VHS VCR. They did not put Macrovison circuitry in them until the later models.
